A Chinese man was arrested after hiring two strippers to perform at his son's wedding, according to a report.

The performance apparently drew attention from police after the strippers' performance was mobbed by villagers, the Global Times reported.

Zhang Cheng, had originally wanted a band for the wedding. But someone told him he could get performers for the wedding that would have special features, the newspaper reported. Cheng lives in Xuzhou, in eastern Jiangsu provice.

After watching the show, Zhang decided it would be appropriate for his son's wedding and requested two strippers for the event, the newspaper reported. ...Barely five minutes had passed before hundreds of villagers in the conservative community were swarming to the venue, trying to catch a glimpse.

The newspaper reports that Zhang was arrested the next day, but it didn't dislcose what he was charged with.
