Mexican club Chivas Gualadajara claimed a dominating 4-1 win over the Spanish and European giants in the World Football Challenge in Miami, Florida.

Spanish Striker David Villa gave Barcelona the lead in the fourth minute at the Sun Life Stadium. The Spaniards took the lead to the second half. Chivas, however, retaliated with four goals in the second half to pick up their first win in the tournament.

Chivas was provided with an equalizer by Fabian after an hour of play, and later put the Mexican team ahead in three minutes with an athletic volley from an Omar Arellano cross.

“Claus.. las chivas, played without his better players, and in the end only played with the players of 17 years.. VIVA MEXICOO VIVA LAS CHIVAS !!...by the way, Messi is not the Barcelona..,” commented a Chivas fan Fernando Segura in Barcelona’s official Facebook page.

“How in the world did they lose 4-1,” said another bewildered fan, Suhail Saad-Omar.

The Mexican club’s lead was further extended when Giovani Casillas and Jose Luis Verduzco scored late in the game completing the 4-1 thrashing.

Others, however, still believe that Barca will bounce back from the humiliation.

“Go FC Barcelona we still the best,” said Hilton Tynes, a fan.

“I went, barce players were disappointed I guess, by the fans. They didn't even wave goodbye,” said Alex Acevado, a disappointed Barca fan.
