Chloe Lukasiak Doesn’t Join ‘Dance Moms’ Stars’ Boycott After Abby Lee Miller’s Return
Chloe Lukasiak returned to the dance floor for another Season 7B episode of “Dance Moms” this past weekend, but her former teammates did not do the same. Abby Lee Miller’s elite junior team is said to have boycotted the most recent competition.
Attendees of Devotion 2 Dance’s competition in Riverside, California, on March 18 report Abby’s “Dance Moms” teen students did not compete at the event to protest Lifetime’s production team and Abby’s return. After weeks of being absent, Abby replaced guest choreographer Laurieann Gibson, much to the dismay of her elite students.
According to one spoiler blog, the teens did not compete at the competition and instead opted to take photos with fans.
Despite not having her award-winning dancers by her side, Abby’s ALDC did compete several numbers at the event. Mini dancers Elliana Walmsley and Lilliana Ketchman did a lyrical duet and solos. Newcomer Maesi Caesa was also gifted a solo routine. On Instagram, Abby raved about the dancers that competed over the weekend.
While Chloe’s new team at Murrieta Dance Project was not able to go up against the ALDC group, they still competed. Their contemporary group dance “Life Support” is said to have placed first overall. This marks the second time MDP has won first-place at a “Dance Moms” competition with Chloe on the team.
The “Dance Moms” Season 7 back half does not have an official premiere date (the series is not included in the network’s April premiere date list), but the cast appears to be anxiously awaiting the arrival of this past weekend’s episode. Kira Girard has been particularly vocal about the drama behind-the-scenes.
