Chris Brown-Karrueche Tran Update: Singer Name-Drops Ex In ‘Sex You Back To Sleep’ Remix; See Fan Reactions

Chris Brown let the world know he’s really sorry for screwing things up with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran. Brown and Tran dated off and on for years and split again in March 2015 after Brown fathered a baby with another woman.

Brown has previously apologized to Tran, but he took things up a notch Saturday when he mentioned her by name in the remix to his song “Sex You Back To Sleep" featuring former One Direction singer Zayn Malik and Usher.

In Brown's verse, he says he misses Tran and apologizes to the model for messing around with "Keyshia and Makayla, all the Georgia peaches in Decatur, and all the b------ in elevators.”

He then sings, “I just want you to love me ... Don’t test me. You know I’ll do it. You want me to say your name, girl? OK … Karrueche!"

Tran hasn’t responded to Brown’s song, but fans have been going crazy on social media over the lyrics. Not only have they been flooding her comments on Instagram about the track, but they’ve also been tweeting up a storm about it, causing her name to trend on Twitter earlier.

“Chris Brown saying Karrueche’s name in his remix is cute lol,” one fan wrote. Another fan tweeted, “Is Chris Brown really trying to get back with Karrueche?” A third fan posted that she “low key” wanted Tran and Brown to start dating again. See more reactions below.

In July, Tran opened up about her breakup with Brown, telling Ryan Seacrest during an appearance on his radio show that she couldn’t say for sure whether they would ever rekindle their romance.

“Us getting back together I can’t say,” she said via Us Weekly. “I don’t know what the future holds. As of right now, I’m just completely focused on myself. I’m not trying to date anybody. I just want to figure out me. There’s no drama between us. It’s peaceful, it’s cordial.”
