Chris Brown Marrying Karrueche Tran? Singer Planning To Propose After Jail Stint, Says Report

Chris Brown may have plans to marry Karrueche Tran after he is released from jail, even though they recently split up yet again. In March, while Brown was in a rehab facility, the couple broke up after an on-and-off again relationship that lasted several years.

On March 12, Brown confirmed their split, tweeting to fans, “KAE will always be my heart. That ain’t changing.” Just days prior, Tran had also written a message to fans, stating that she is “not dating anyone.”

It was unclear at the time why they broke up, but reports later claimed Brown cheated on Tran. That apparently does not mean the love is gone, however. “I don’t know if that’s him being lonely in jail but that’s what he tells her. He calls her his wifey and tells her all the time that she’s perfect wife material,” a source revealed to HollywoodLife. “He knows Kae is incredibly loyal and has literally put her life on hold to hold him down in jail. She’s taken care of just about everything in his house.”

“He basically told her that when he gets out things are going to be way different between them and that he’s going to return all the favors she’s given him with a surprise of a lifetime,” the source added.

Brown, 25, is currently in jail pending his trial in May for assault. Police say Brown and his bodyguard Christopher Hollosy attacked a man last year with their fists outside the W Hotel in downtown Washington last year.

Meanwhile, Tran is still showing support to Brown, who turns 25 on Monday. She posted a photo on Instagram of the pair, along with the caption, “Happy birthday Christopher. I love and miss you. Can’t wait to give you a big kiss and hug.”
