Chris Brown-Nia Guzman Feud: Singer Slams Royalty’s Mother After King Ba Accused of Forging Checks
Chris Brown is not happy Nia Guzman’s boyfriend has a warrant out for his arrest. Rapper King Ba, who considers himself to be the father of Brown’s daughter Royalty, has been accused of forging more than $5,000 worth of U.S Treasury Checks. A Houston, Texas, news station released a video surveillance image of Ba asking for the public’s help in his arrest.
According to TMZ, Brown supposedly responded to the drama, writing on Instagram, “All that safety talk and not allowing me to see my daughter contradicts everything. Funny how I work a legit job and love my daughter to the fullest and I’m in her life. Well, if it ain’t the pot calling the kettle black. #goddontlikeugly.”
As previously reported, Brown and Guzman have been battling each other over custody and visitation of Royalty, their 1-year-old daughter. Guzman recently filed documents seeking supervised visitation, claiming she didn’t feel safe leaving the toddler alone with the “Liquor” singer. Guzman also alleged that Brown and his friends had substance abuse problems.
Brown has filed for paternity rights over Royalty, and responded to Guzman’s claims saying she was just trying to get more child support out of him. The pair had previously agreed Guzman would get $10,000 a month, but the deal fell apart when the model reportedly denied Brown a trip to see his daughter.
According to rumors, Brown is so upset over the drama with Guzman that he got emotional and “cried” himself to sleep one night. “He just sits there sad and starts to cry,” a source told Hollywood Life at the time. “You’ve never seen a grown man cry until you see him being deprived of being a father to his child.”
