Chris Brown-Rihanna Update: ‘Loyal’ Singer Confides In Ex-Girlfriend During Fight For Royalty: Report
It’s been years since Chris Brown and Rihanna were together, but the troubled couple might be getting closer -- that is, if rumors are to be believed. Brown wants to spend more time with his 12-month-old daughter, Royalty, but the mother of their child, Nia Guzman, is reportedly making things difficult. During this hard time, the “BBHMM” singer has been Brown’s confidant, Hollywood Life wrote in an exclusive report Monday.
Rihanna, 27, has been in touch with her ex-boyfriend and giving him advice. "First, she told him he’s an incredible father. She told him to keep his head up and continue to tour,” an insider told Hollywood Life.
The fact that Nia won’t even let Brown FaceTime with their daughter has made him feel like he doesn’t want to continue with his tour. “He told her he’s sad and he cries himself to sleep at night because Nia’s deprives him of seeing Royalty. He even told her he hates touring right now because he’d rather spend time with Royalty,” the insider said.
Rihanna supports Brown’s father-daughter relationship with Royalty and bought them matching diamond earrings, a source told Hollywood Life in a different story. “She sent a note too, and it read: ‘You and Royalty keep shining bright like a diamond,'” an insider said. The note is a reference to the Barbadian beauty’s 2012 hit “Diamonds.”
News broke that Brown, 26, had fathered a love child in March 2015, while he was still with then-girlfriend Karrueche Tran. The reveal shocked fans, and ultimately led to Karrueche and Brown's breakup. At the time, the model tweeted that she wished him the best. After months of speculating if they would reconcile, their split seems official.
Nia doesn’t believe that the “Loyal” singer is capable of taking care of their daughter and filed the legal documents for supervised visitation, TMZ wrote Sunday. She reportedly thinks he is “too irresponsible to care for a kid,” the publication wrote.
