Chris Brown-Rihanna Update: Is 'Loyal' Singer Dating Ex-Girlfriend Again?

Long before model Karrueche Tran came into the picture, there was singer Rihanna. Since "Loyal” singer Chris Brown and Tran called it quits, rumors have swirled that C-Breezy is dating his ex-girlfriend again. The former couple has had FaceTime sessions to reconnect, the blog Media Take Out wrote in an exclusive report Monday.

“[Rihanna] is taking it slowly. She still loves Chris and wants to make sure that this time they do it right,” an “extremely close” insider, who remained anonymous, confirmed to MTO.

But that wasn’t the only person who claimed RiRi, 27, and Brown, 26, were working on their relationship, MTO wrote. Aspiring singer Assata said she was in the studio Friday with Brown and rappers Fetty Wap and French Montana. She claimed while they were in the studio that night, she saw Brown FaceTime the "Unfaithful" singer. They were supposedly talking like they were “boyfriend and girlfriend.”

Assata posted two updates to Snapchat. One showed Brown on the phone with Fetty in the background, and the other said, “The fact that I witnessed him FaceTime Rih.” The posts have since been deleted, but MTO took screenshots of the Snaps and posted them. Click here to view the images.

The rumor that Rihanna and Brown are back together comes after the “Unfaithful” singer was tied to Formula One Champion Lewis Hamilton. They were seen at Griffin nightclub in the Meatpacking District in New York City.

Brown reportedly became jealous. “He [Brown] asked her what's the status of their relationship, and she told him that they are just friends hanging out,” sources told Urban Islandz. “She [Rihanna] sensed that there are some jealous [vibes] and playfully asked him if he is jealous. And his response was no, but she knows him very well and knows when he is being jealous or not. She really likes to rub it in that this is what you lost, but it’s good that they are maintaining a healthy friendship.”

Rihanna has not issued a statement about who she is or is not currently dating.
