Chris Brown Talks Rihanna: Will They Get Back Together?

Chris Brown is opening up about Rihanna as he promotes his sixth studio album, “X.” While the two are no longer together, Brown is often still questioned about the singer during interviews, considering their tumultuous and very public relationship over the years.

“Me and her are friends. We have a great understanding, there's no issues. We've been friends for almost 10 years, and I don't think that's ever gonna change,” Brown told Access Hollywood this week.

Brown and Rihanna were together as recently as 2013 when they displayed their love at the Grammy Awards. But most fans still recall when he assaulted his then-girlfriend in 2009. The two broke up afterward and Brown was issued a restraining order, but that did not keep the two singers apart. Brown is now dating Karrueche Tran, in another on-and-off relationship with over the years.

Last month, Brown posted a photo of Tran on Instagram for “#WCW” or “Woman Crush Wednesday.” While the picture of her was a sweet gesture, it was the caption that got fans talking. “Damn near 5 years and this woman still putting up with my sh--. Need to have this baby and stop playing! My WCW,” Brown wrote.

But apparently Rihanna is also on Brown's mind. Last month, Brown liked a photo on Instagram of him and his ex, the Barbadian stunner. The black-and-white picture, posted on the account @mzfamebreezy, shows Brown and Rihanna lying together on a bed.

It's possible that Rihanna is still thinking about Brown, too. During an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2012, Rihanna admitted that Brown was her first love, and that she believes he is the love of her life. "We love each other and we probably always will."
