Chris Hemsworth Gets Trolled By Brothers Liam And Luke On His 38th Birthday
Chris Hemsworth celebrated his 38th birthday Wednesday and his brothers Liam and Luke Hemsworth didn't pass up the opportunity to troll him.
Liam took to Instagram to greet the "Thor" star with a happy birthday message. But instead of posting a photo of Chris, he shared a photo of him and Luke playing under a waterfall.
"Happy birthday @chrishemsworth," he wrote in the caption. Chris jokingly responded to the post saying, "I'm the best photographer going round."
Going along with the joke, Luke posted his own birthday tribute to Chris. Sharing a selfie of him, he wrote, "Happy birthday brother @chrishemsworth!! Love you mate will remember this trip to the Kimberly region forever. So many memories together."
Chris also commented on the post, saying, "Yeh it was so much fun, kinda felt like a dream, kinda like I wasn't even there."
Besides Liam and Luke, several other celebrities close to the "Extraction" actor also took to social media to share their birthday wishes.
Among them was Chris' wife Elsa Pataky, who shared a series of sweet photos on Instagram. In one of the snaps, Chris could be seen sleeping on a couch while surrounded by their kids -- India, 9, and twins Tristan and Sasha, 7.
"Happy birthday to my favorite husband ever," Pataky wrote in the caption. "You mean the world to me. For many more years of laughs and happiness."
Mark Ruffalo, his Marvel-co-star, also posted a tribute to Chris, sharing a shot of him in Thor costume. "What if… we all wish @chrishemsworth a happy birthday today. Leave him a message at the beep *beeeep* 'I love you, bro!' Wishing you a great birthday with the family and the kids," he said in the caption.
"Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi also shared a photo of Chris donning his Thor wig, captioning the post, "It takes 13 hours to make this hairline perfect for the silver screen and you take it like the true champ you are. Happy Birthday, bro. @chrishemsworth."
Chris commented on the post, writing, "It's receding forward, one of a kind."
In June, the actor announced that "Thor: Love and Thunder" had finished shooting. The movie, which is also directed by Waititi, is set for release on May 6, 2022, according to Deadline.
