Chris Hemsworth Posts Sweet Photo With His Kids During ‘Thor’ Press Tour
Chris Hemsworth is super busy right now. The superhero actor is traveling the world to promote “Thor: Ragnarok,” his latest Marvel movie. However, he still makes time for his kids.
The Australian star posted a photo Tuesday that showed him fishing with two of his three children. “Epic weekend with these little legends,” Hemsworth wrote in the photo caption.
Hemsworth is father to 3-year-old twin boys Sasha and Tristan as well as 5-year-old daughter India Rose. Having a superhero for a father sounds pretty cool, but the father of three revealed that only one of his children looks up to Thor.
“One of them thinks it is awesome, he won’t let me cut his hair, he has a hammer,” Hemsworth told Australia’s “The Project” (via Daily Mail).
“The other two are like ‘who cares?’ One out of three is good, I will get rid of the other two. I like them but if they are not in full love for me,” he joked.
Despite their lack of interest in “Thor,” Hemsworth has to make the most of the time he has with the little ones. As previously reported, he revealed that he’d like to spend more time at home, but he feels like his career could slip away if he takes an extended break.
“My wife and I fell in love, had kids, didn’t really see each other for a few years, then fell back in love,” he admitted to GQ Australia. “In terms of work, she’s certainly given up more than I have. She’d like me to step back and be at home with the kids more, and of course, I want that too. But I feel like I’m at this crucial point in my career — I’ve just got to set up for longevity or I’ll slip off.”
Hemsworth has been married to actress Elsa Pataky for nearly eight years. The two were able to spend a bit more time together while “Thor: Ragnarok” was filming. The Marvel movie filmed in Australia, where Hemsworth’s family resides, rather than the U.S. or U.K., where the first two “Thor” movies filmed.
Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” directed by Taika Waititi, hits theaters Nov. 3.
