The fiancée of deceased Cincinnati Bengals receiver, Chris Henry, said on ESPN he didn't try to kill himself when he jumped off the truck she was driving.

I think he thought maybe he was gonna land ... he was gonna land right? She added, He wouldn't want to be gone away from his kids, Loleini Tonga said.

When asked why she didn't just stop the car, Tonga explained, I was gonna stop, but there was nowhere to stop on that road.

Henry, 26, died December 17 from the injuries sustained after falling off a moving pickup truck being driven by Tonga. The couple reportedly had a domestic dispute before the incident.
