Chris Pratt Files For Divorce Months After Split From Anna Faris

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are divorcing.

In August, the "Jurassic World" actor and the "Scary Movie" actress announced their split. It's almost four months since they separated and Pratt has decided to file for divorce.

In the documents obtained by TMZ (via E! News), the "Passengers" actor cited "irreconcilable differences" for their split. Faris has responded and claimed the same thing. The documents were filed simultaneously.

Pratt and Faris noted July 13, 2017, as their date of separation, it was less than a month before they announced their split to the public. "We are sad to announce we are legally separating," Pratt and Faris announced in a joint statement on their social media accounts.

"We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake, we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still love each other and will always cherish our time together."

Although the exes have parted ways, they remain amicable for their five-year-old son, Jack. In fact, Pratt praised his ex-wife for her 2017 Emmys look. Meanwhile, Faris has nothing but praises to her ex-husband when she released her "Unqualified" memoir.

In the book, Faris looked back and shared how sweet, thoughtful and talented Pratt is. According to the "Mom" star, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star would often send her handwritten notes when he was out of the country. Also, Pratt was fond of sending her flowers on set, which sometimes made her feel uncomfortable.

"I'll admit that sometimes I felt almost embarrassed, not because I wanted to hide them, but I didn't want to always be the, 'Look what I got!' girl who rubbed her romantic husband in her coworker's faces," Faris joked.

Aside from Pratt's romantic side, Faris noted that he is very skilled. The "Passengers" star cuts her locks and their son's hair. In addition, he knows how to draw and write poems.

Following their split, Pratt and Faris are already moving on. "The House Bunny" star is currently dating Michael Barrett. The couple was spotted holding hands in Venice in November. Meanwhile, Pratt was spotted with a mystery blonde woman shortly after they announced their breakup.
