Chris Pratt, Katherine Schwarzenegger Welcome Baby No. 2: ‘We Feel Beyond Blessed’

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger’s family just got bigger after the birth of the couple’s second daughter.

Pratt announced the good news on his Instagram page Sunday as he revealed that they welcomed their second daughter on May 21 and named her Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt.

"We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. Mama and baby are doing well," the actor captioned the post. "We feel beyond blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris."

The “Jurassic World” star and the “BDA Baby” Instagram live series host are already parents to one-year-old Lyla. Pratt also has a 9-year-old son, Jack, from his first marriage to Anna Farris.

News about the “Gift of Forgiveness” author’s pregnancy first broke in December 2021 when the then-pregnant star debuted her baby bump while running errands. At the time, Schwarzenegger was spotted wearing baggy overalls while at a coffee run in L.A.

The couple tied the knot in June 2019 and welcomed Lyla in August 2020.

In March, Schwarzenegger took to her Instagram page and shared how Lyla was preparing to become an older sister. Schwarzenegger uploaded a photo of two dolls wearing diapers. She wrote, “The latest toddler treats I find around the house… all her babies and stuffies are wearing diapers and bandaids,” the 32-year-old mama wrote.

“Mamas girl is nesting (fun fact: the doll on the left was bought when I was born and is doing well 32 years later ) #vintage.”

Pratt shared his reaction in the comments section and said, “If you find a turd in one of those diapers call Ghost Hunters immediately.”

Pratt received online backlash in November 2021 after he thanked his wife for giving him a “healthy daughter,” which many thought was disrespectful to his ex-wife, Faris, and their son Jack who was born prematurely.

The issue stemmed from Pratt’s birthday tribute post for Schwarzenegger, where he said, “She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes I put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that’s love!”
