Convicted killer Chris Watts claims he is a changed man after reportedly being “demon possessed.” Watts killed his pregnant wife and two young daughters and then dumped their bodies in a shallow grave and oil tank, respectively.

Watts, 33, made the new claims to his own mother, who revealed her son’s words in the HLN special, “Killer Dad: Chris Watts Speaks.” On the show, Watts’ mother reads a letter from her son, revealing in his own words how he has now found God as well as forgiveness for his crimes.

He wrote in the letter, “I’m still a Dad! I’m still a son! No matter what. Now, I can add servant of God to that mix! He has shown me peace, peace, love and forgiveness, and that’s how I live every day.”

Watts told investigators that he murdered his wife Shanann while she was praying and then smothered his three and four-year-old daughters. He also has photos of his family hanging in his prison cell, which he talks to and reportedly reads scriptures and storybooks every day.

Watts is currently serving multiple life sentences for the murders of his family in a Wisconsin prison after being moved from a Colorado prison, where he was reportedly receiving death threats.

Watts is looking to appeal his sentence and has reached out to a series of lawyers for legal advice. According to Nancy Grace, Watts has little if any chance of overturning his sentence. Watts pleaded guilty to the murder charges against him in August 2018.
