"Selling Sunset" star Chrishell Stause has addressed the rumors romantically linking her and "Dancing with the Stars" partner Gleb Savchenko amid the pro dancer's split from wife Elena Samodanova.
Stause and Savchenko, who work together on "DWTS" Season 29, got flirty on set, Page Six reported, citing unnamed sources. But Stause has denied the accusations that she played a role in his separation from his wife of 14 years.
"I am so saddened about the news of Gleb and Elena’s split," the realtor wrote on Instagram Story Friday. "It is unfortunate that this has caused rumors to swirl about my personal life. Having gone through a public split myself, I would not wish this on anyone."
Stause emphasized that she and her "Dancing with the Stars" partner are nothing more than friends.
"As you can imagine, the countless hours of training, and dance rehearsals has created a strong supportive friendship, but nothing more," she added. "I wish nothing but the best for both Gleb and Elena during this unfortunate time."
Stause's own split from ex-husband Justin Hartley was chronicled on "Selling Sunset" Season 3. The "This Is Us" actor allegedly wasn't aware that she had revealed their private family matters on the reality show until his friends informed him and had been displeased with Stause's behavior, a report said.
"He’s irritated that she’s airing their private information publicly and knows there is more to the story than is being told," an unnamed insider earlier told Us Weekly. "His close friends and family know what really happened, as does Chrishell, so ultimately it’s her choice of what is put out there."
On Friday, Savchenko confirmed that he and Samodanova had called it quits on his Instagram, adding that they will continue to co-parent their two children, Olivia, 10, and Zlata, 3.
"It is with a heavy heart that I tell you my wife and I are parting ways after 14 years of marriage," he wrote in the caption. "We still intend to co-parent our wonderful children together who we love so dearly, and we will strive to continue to be the best parents that we can to them. We ask that you respect our family’s need for privacy and healing during this time."
However, Samodanova appeared to suggest that their split was not amicable when she shared a cryptic quote and a broken-heart emoji on Instagram.
"I don’t hate you," the post read. "I’m just disappointed you turned into everything you said you’d never be."
