Christina Aguilera Talks Weight Loss With Jay Leno: 'I’m 32 And I Feel Sexier Than Ever' [PHOTOS]
Christina Aguilera is showing off her hard work, appearing on the Jay Leno show Wednesday night in a tight black minidress. The 32-year-old superstar singer, who also appears on the October cover of Maxim magazine, was a guest on the late-night talk show.
The platinum-blond “Beautiful” singer looked slim and sexy, sporting red lipstick and hoop earrings with a Bec & Bridge Ribbed V Dress and black open-toe platform heels.
Aguilera talked to Leno about her magazine shoot and her sexuality, saying she has never felt hotter than she does now.
“I’m an artist, and expressing myself in a sexual way, no matter how that changes throughout the years, is something that has always come naturally to me,” she said.
“At this point of my life, I’m 32 and I feel sexier than ever because you know what you want.”
In Maxim, which hit newsstands Sept. 17, Aguilera talks about how she defines “sexy,” how your partner should go about introducing something different in the bedroom, foreplay and more. One of the quotes that stuck out for Leno was, "The one place I don’t need to be in control is in the bedroom.”
Leno asked her to explain that, and she said, “I’m a big micromanager, I’m a stickler about organization, everything needs a place, a purpose, and I micromanage myself even when I’m in the studio. So I think every woman should relax and allow herself to be pleased in the bedroom. It’s the one place I can let go.”
Aguilera has had quite a busy past few months, getting her body back after noticeably gaining weight following filing for divorce from Jordan Bratman in October 2010. "I've been through my highs, I've been through my lows," Aguilera told Marie Claire magazine last year. "I've been through the gamut of all things in this business. Being too thin, being bigger."
She has been working with a personal trainer and adheres to a strict diet, which has helped her to shed at least 20 pounds, according to some reports -- and that's evident in her new photo spread.
After taking a break to refocus on her music, Aguilera will rejoin fellow judges Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and CeeLo Green for the fifth season of NBC's "The Voice," which begins on Sept. 23. Latin singing sensation Shakira, who had subbed for Aguilera, is leaving the show after becoming a new mom to son Milan.
“She did a beautiful job," Aguilera said about Shakira. "She has sweet, lovely energy.”
