In late June, she also used the same social media platform to announce that she and Costabile are engaged. The singer shared a stunning photo of her engagement ring and captioned it by saying that Costabile finally popped the big question. On his Instagram account, Costabile gushed over Perri and said that he knew he wanted to marry her since the first time he interviewed her four years ago.
According to E! News, Perri and Costabile’s engagement was announced just a day after the singer’s song was featured in “America’s Got Talent” Season 12. Evie Clair, 13, performed an emotional rendition of “Arms,” which she dedicated to her dad who is battling stage 4 colon cancer. After hearing Clair’s song, Perri reached out to her via Twitter.
Perri thanked Clair for choosing to sing her song in the hit NBC reality TV competition. The former also sent the latter and her dad some love.
Clair made it through the recent judge cuts in “America’s Got Talent,” and she will be heading to the live shows two weeks from now.
Meanwhile, details about Perri and Costabile’s upcoming wedding are still being kept under wraps. It is also unclear when the singer is due to welcome her first child. But three months before they got engaged, Perri shared a photo of her parents, who have been married for 39 years.
The “A Thousand Years” singer captioned the snap by saying that her parents are the perfect example of what love can be. She then thanked her mom and dad for being adorable.
Perri has one brother, Nick Perri, who is a musician. Nick is the founding member of Silvertide, and he currently plays with the newly-formed band, Mount Holly.
