'A Christmas Cookie Catastrophe' Hallmark Movie Premiere: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis
Hallmark Channel's merry holiday season continues with the newest "Countdown to Christmas" holiday premiere, "A Christmas Cookie Catastrophe." The film, starring Rachel Boston and Victor Webster, premieres Sunday night.
The film is sure to be a spectacular treat for Hallmark fans, as it will be bringing together two familiar faces from the network for the first time. Fans will recognize both for their various projects and titles. Boston has appeared in the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries film "Christmas in Angel Falls," as well as the Hallmark Channel films "A Rose for Christmas," "The Last Bridesmaid," "Check Inn to Christmas," "A Christmas Carousel" and "Dating the Delaneys." She also appeared in Lifetime's holiday film, "A Christmas in Tennessee."
As for Webster, fans likely can recognize him from the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries "Matchmaker Mysteries" and Hallmark Channel's "Chesapeake Shores." He also starred in several films in the network, including "A Harvest Wedding," "Homegrown Christmas," "Hearts of Winter," "Five Star Christmas" and "The Wedding Veil: Legacy."
So what can fans expect from this film? Let's find out.
"Annie Cooper (Boston) has big shoes to fill when she takes over as CEO of her late grandmother's small-town cookie company," a synopsis for the film reads. "She's doing her best to help their struggling business get back on track but is under sharp scrutiny by the board of directors. Annie's task gets more daunting when her grandmother's secret recipe is stolen during the Christmas party."
However, Annie gets a chance to fix things when she works with a local man to recreate the recipe in case she can't find the stolen one. In addition, she begins to find herself falling in love.
"As Annie tries to crack the case and uncover the culprit, she works with Sam (Webster), the owner of a local bakery, to recreate the recipe in the hope of saving the company and her job," the synopsis continues. "As Annie and Sam bake batch after batch in pursuit of the perfect one, they begin to learn that their lives go together like milk and cookies."
"A Christmas Cookie Catastrophe" premieres Sunday, Nov. 27 at 6 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
