Christopher Nolan’s Next Movie 'Tenet': Cast, Plot And What To Expect
Christopher Nolan’s movies always tick our brains whether its "Momento," "The Prestige," "Interstellar" or even "Dunkirk." The Dark Knight trilogy director is set to release his next film in July 2020.
When it comes to Nolan, he is always secretive about his projects but here’s what fans can expect from his next movie which is titled "Tenet’,"
Tenet is set for release on July 17, 2020, and is described as “an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage.” Sounds interesting?
The movie also has an interesting cast, including Robert Pattison, John David Washinton, and Elizabeth Debicki. Other celebrities like Kenneth Branagh, Michael Caine, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Dimple Kapadia and Clémence Poésy have also joined the movie.
For this movie, Christopher Nolan is working with a new editor, Jennifer Lame, who has previously worked for "Hereditary," a horror movie. This a big step as Nolan has always worked with Lee Smith for all of his films since "Batman Begins." In fact, Smith even has won an Oscar for "Dunkirk." There seem to be no hard feelings from both parties as Lee is booked up with Sam Mendes for the World War I epic, "1917. "
The new movie is produced by Warner Bros. which is a frequent collaborator with Nolan for all his projects. Once again Emma Thomas will the producer while Thomas Hayslip will be acting as an executive producer. You can also witness Hoyte van Hoytema’s cinematography and Ludwig Göransson’s music composition in "Tenet."
If you notice carefully, you might come to acknowledge that the title is a palindrome. "Tenet" is spelled the same, backward and forward. Everyone knows how Nolan is obsessed with time and in most of his movies Time plays a major role, and we speculate the same may be the case with Tenet. It is going to be an action-packed movie, and we know that it is being shot in seven different countries using a mix of 70mm film and IMAX.
