‘Chronicle Mysteries: Wrong Man’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis, Air Date

The first “Chronicle Mysteries” movie, starring Alison Sweeney (Alex McPherson) and Benjamin Ayres (Drew Goddard), just premiered last week, but it’s already time for the second installment in the franchise!

Titled “Chronicle Mysteries: The Wrong Man,” the sequel airs Sunday on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and follows Alex tackling a new case with Drew.

“The latest edition of Alex McPherson’s true crime podcast finds her investigating a three-year-old murder for which the body has only recently been discovered,” the synopsis shares. “In reviewing the case for her podcast, Alex discovers the shocking truth about the killer, and helps to exonerate two men wrongly accused of the crime.”

Directed by Terry Ingram and written by Melissa Salmons, the cast also features Dave Collette (Chuck Matthews), Michael Kopsa (Miles Lawrence), Peter Benson (Mike Thurman), Jesse Moss (Tim), Marco Soriano (Frank), Adrian Hough (Paul), Toby Levins (Sean), Karen Holness (Katie) and Kaylah Zander (Betsy).
