Chuwi Hi12 Full Specs Revealed; Windows 10/Android 5.1 Powered Tablet Release Date Expected This Month
Chuwi Hi12 is a new tablet from the Chinese manufacturer that will function like Microsoft Surface tablet. However, it will come equipped both Windows 10 and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
According to Microsoft News, the Chuwi Hi12 will be sporting a 12-inch display. It will carry support for 2160 x 1440 pixels. It will be fueled by Intel X5 Cherry Trail Z8300 that will be able to work at a maximum clocking speed of 1.84 GHz. The SoC also includes Intel HD graphics (8th generation).
The Chuwi Hi12 will be featuring 4 GB of RAM and it will arrive with a native storage of 64 GB. The external storage slot of the device supports up to 128 GB of microSD card. One of the USPs of the Chuwi Hi12 is that it will carry support for two operating systems, Windows 10 and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
It will be coming with a 5-megapixel camera on the rear panel whereas the front side will be fitted with a 2-megapixel camera. Previous rumors have suggested that it will be equipped with connectivity features like two USB 2.0 ports, a micro USB slot and USB Type-C port.
One of the photos of the Chuwi Hi12 indicates that it will provide with option to connect detachable keyboard. It will be equipped with a massive battery of 10,000 mAh capacity.
The tablet will be available in two color options like gold and space gray. As far as the release date is concerned, the Chuwi Hi12 is expected to hit the market by this month. According to Beta News, the Chuwi Hi12 will be available in markets like the U.S. and Europe.
As of this writing, there is no information available on the pricing of the device. Speculations indicate that it will be priced lower than $300.
