Ciara Opens Up About Expecting First Child With Husband Russell Wilson

Ciara has opened up about having her first child with husband Russell Wilson.

Speaking with E! News, the singer said she feels great about expecting and how being at work distracts her from feeling the usual symptoms of pregnancy.

“I was just dancing in New York and I didn’t even feel like there was a baby in my stomach,” Ciara said. “But then when I get home and I sit down and have a good meal, I’m like… oh.”

The singer added that she’s been taking advantage of her pregnancy when it comes to eating. Ciara also opened up about her son Future Zahir's excitement over her pregnancy. Future Zahir is the singer’s child with ex-fiancé Future.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the singer said baby Future is happy about the idea of having a little sibling. She also shared how Future would always talk to the baby inside her belly and how he would point to other babies when they are out.

Ciara and Wilson shared the news about their child on the singer’s birthday, Oct. 25. They both took to Instagram to announce it.

“I think for my fans to be able to share that gift on my day was also special too,” she said. “It made my birthday one of the most memorable birthdays of all.”

Rumors about Ciara’s pregnancy sparked when she posted a video of herself dancing with former Miss USA winners. In the clip, she appeared to be sporting a baby bump, which led to questions from fans. The singer did not address the rumors immediately but she fueled speculations by posting clothing that hid her stomach and hip area.
