Ciara-Russell Wilson Update: Seahawks Quarterback Has 'Evil' Intentions, Future Says
“What a Time to Be Alive” rapper Future has slammed Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in the past for spending time with his son, “Juicy Man” Future Zahir, but the rapper cleared the air during an interview with XXL magazine. While he doesn’t mind his son spending time with Ciara’s new man, he doesn’t think Wilson has the best intentions.
Wilson, 25, has been photographed hugging “Juicy Man” and pushing his stroller. Both those photos irritated Future. “I’m telling you right now, I’m giving you two sides. Like, I’m cool with him being around him but certain situations, we all in the public eye, you can’t move around with my son a certain kind of way, you know what I’m saying?” he told XXL magazine Thursday.
Future asserted Wilson tries to take his thunder, especially after his mixtape with rapper Drake dropped. “I feel like a lot of moves are just made out of just being evil, basically,” he said. “Because, you know, the success of my album and you still want to make certain moves to take the spotlight off me a little bit and shed light on a negative situation.”
Ultimately, Future wants his son to be kept out of the public eye. “Why would you want to put light on a negative situation? Even if I didn’t care about it, the people have a way of looking at it,” Future said. “Why would you want to give these people an opinion on our kid? Why won’t we just let our child be a child?”
“I Bet” singer Ciara, who is Future’s ex-fiancée, hasn’t responded to his most recent statement. In the past the singer said she thought Future’s problem with Wilson spending time with their son was hypocritical since she used to baby-sit the children he had with other women when they were still together.
