On Wednesday, Cisco Systems Inc., completed its acquisition of Tidal Software, Inc. the creator of intelligent application management and automation solutions based in in Palo Alto, California and Houston.

Cisco's acquisition of Tidal Software will advance Cisco’s data center strategy. It will also create an opportunity for Cisco and its partners through the delivery of partner-led services, leveraging Cisco’s application management capabilities.

Cisco’s data center strategy through collaboration with its new team Tidal Software is eyeing to boost intelligent solutions providing timely, accurate and cost-efficient management and automation of application performance across entire business operations, from the server through the network to the desktop.

According to a report from Mercury News, Cisco closes $105 million deal for Tidal Systems.

Through the successful acquisition, The Tidal Software team becomes part of the Cisco Advanced Services organization.
