Claire Danes Is Pregnant With A 'Human Being'
Claire Danes has joined the group of celebrities who are rocking a baby bump as their latest fashion accessory. The "My So Called Life" star recently opened up about her pregnancy in interviews saying she was pregnant with a "human being," MSN's Wonder Wall wrote.
The actress has always been known to be on the slender side, but now that she's seven months into her pregnancy she is beginning to show.
According to MSN's Wonder Wall she said about her pregnant body, ""It's getting to the point where I'm looking a little knocked up," Danes joked to the hosts of the show when she was on "Live! With Kelly and Michael" on Sept. 4. The actress then went on to compared the size of her baby bump to a "soccer ball."
The 33-year-old actress who predominately lives out of New York with her husband Hugh Darcy, 37, first announcing that they were expecting a child together on the 4th of July.
But that doesn't mean Danes' acting days are over just yet. The start has been working hard over the summer on Showtimes breakout series, "Homeland."
As far as filming for the show goes, Danes has luckily been able to hide her pregnant belly with the help of some skillful cameramen.
Danes' pregnancy curves have remained hidden.
"I've been pretty fortunate thus far. We're in the middle of filming our second season and luckily we've been able to conceal it," Danes reportedly revealed. "They haven't written it in, but they'll be able to manipulate it in post and do some CGI trickery and make [my character] Carrie not so pregnant."
But just because Danes' is being open about the fact that she is having a child doesn't mean she wants to give everything away.
When asked what the gender of the child was, Danes' is keeping tight lipped.
"It is a human being, which is a profound relief," the celebrity joked.
In addition to being excited for having her child, Danes' can also look forward to "Homeland" being nominated nine times at the Primetime Emmy Awards which is set to premiere on Sept. 23.
