CMT Music Awards Red Carpet 2017: Hottest Celebrity Fashion Looks And Best Dressed Stars

The stars were out and about in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wedneaday night where they gathered at the Music City Center for the 2017 CMT Music Awards.

While collecting awards is the name of the game, red carpet fashion seems to always be the talk of the town in one way or another. From performers to presents to guests just there to have a good time, several stars rocked amazing looks for the big night in country music. Check out some of the best dressed celebrities that attended the CMT Awards below.

Making a splash on the red carpet, Carrie Underwood wore an Elie Madi dress accessorized with Kimberly McDonald jewels and a Swarovski bag. The singer took the stage with Keith Urban for a memorable duet and picked up two awards. Underwood won female video of the year for her song “Church” and collaborative video of the year for “The Fighter” with Urban.

The songstress was nominated for video of the year but lost the award to her singing partner, Urban.

Miranda Lambert also hit the red carpet making a statement in a piece that was a little more simple. The singer wore a little black dress featuring a midriff cutout and metallic accents. The star also hit the stage during the ceremony to perform her song “Pink Sunglasses” and was also nominated for two awards.

Lambert was up for video of the year and female video of the year, losing both awards to Urban and Underwood, respectively.

Although she may not have walked away with any awards this year, Lambert was in high spirits prior to the award show. On Tuesday, she gushed to CMT about how excited she was to attend the award ceremony.

“The CMT Awards are loud and fun as you can tell, but they’re definitely more laidback than any other award show for sure,” she said during her rehearsals. “It’s kind of like a reunion. Everybody’s here this week to celebrate country music and the CMTs is the sort of place where we can all gather and see each other because everybody scatters their own ways during this week. So, it’s fun,” Lambert added.

“The Weight of These Wings” artist was also psyched about her upcoming performance for Wednesday night. “I’m doing something fun this time,” she told CMT.

“I’ve been doing ‘Pink Sunglasses’ on the road and we’ve been lovin’ it. So, it felt like summer and festive and perfect for CMA week and … They’ve handed out like a thousand pairs of pink sunglasses [for the performance] so I’m excited,” the singer stated.

Jada Pinkett Smith was also in attendance at the award show as a presenter for the night. The actress decided to go with a more formal look for her red carpet attire, wearing a floor-length Carolina Herrera dress featuring embroidered flowers.

Model Josephine Skriver who was at the CMT Awards for a fun night of country music sparkled on the red carpet with her low cut, silver and white beaded playsuit by Naeem Khan.
