Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival have announced that 2012's festival will be held over two weekends.

After this year's record breaking sales, Coachella decided to accommodate everyone who wants to partake in the festivities. In 2011 passes were sold out after just six days of being on sale.

This Friday, June 3, at 10am PST, Coachella will offer an advance sale that will continue through June 10th, at 10pm. This sale option gives festival-goers the chance to pay for their $269 pass over 8 payments.

The event will be held over the weekend of April 13 - 15, 2012, and April 20 - 22, 2012.

The same line-up will perform for both weekends, which could be a risky move for the festival, or a rewarding one.
