Australian musician Cody Simpson lost one of his biggest fans, Gracie Abbott, who reportredly was killed in an ATV crash on Easter Sunday. The Twitterverse was devastated over the young girl’s death Monday evening.

Simpson, who was recently voted off of Season 18 of “Dancing With the Stars” took to Twitter to grieve after the 13-year-old was reportedly involved in a fatal accident while driving an ATV.

The Walker, Ala., teen reportedly died after she was thrown from the ATV, according to local Alabama website AL.com.

Abbott was driving the vehicle with her two cousins in the back. During the crash, which apparently occurred near Old Glory Drive, the ATV flipped and she and her cousins were thrown from the vehicle.

One of the cousins was able to run for help, but efforts to revive Abbott were unsuccessful. Walker County Coroner J.C. Poe said Abbott was brought to Children' s of Alabama hospital and was pronounced dead at 10:15 p.m.

Abbott was known on social media as one of Simpson’s biggest fans. She had a Twitter following of 867 people and had a few different pictures with the Australian star posted to her account.

Twitterati mourned the young girl by sharing her pictures and wishing her peace after she passed. Some of their comments were posted below.
