Colin Kaepernick’s Girlfriend Nessa Diab Wants New York Jets Trade? Old Mia Isabella Rumors Surface

Update 9:04 p.m. EST: When Mia Isabella was asked about Kaepernick and their rumored romance, she said, “I have never confirmed a relationship of any kind with Colin Kaepernick.” She did, however, say it was his “dream” to be on the 49ers, and added: “No matter what his decisions regarding love or career, I will continue to be a fan and support throughout all his endeavors. I believe the best is yet to come, because against all odds greatness doesn’t falter, it becomes legend.” She did not mention Diab.

Original story: Rumors swirled Wednesday that 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick wants to be traded to the New York Jets because of a subpar season with San Francisco — but also because of his girlfriend, Nessa Diab. The “Girl Code” star and Hot 97 host resides in the Big Apple, and Kaepernick supposedly wants to be closer to his ladylove.

There’s no confirmation on this, though. As far as a trade goes, Kaepernick has not made an official statement about leaving the 49ers after a forgettable 2015 season. His team went 5-11 and finished last in NFC West.

In the past, Diab has hinted that she felt insecure in her relationship with Kaepernick, though she didn’t call him out by name. During an episode of MTV’s “Girl Code,” the star joked about thinking he was in the car with another woman. In reality, it was the voice on the GPS telling the driver where to turn, she quipped. The Hot 97 host then added she stalked her boyfriend on Instagram to make sure he was staying true to her, and became “upset” when he “liked” a picture of a tiger.

While Diab was mostly joking about Kaepernick’s fidelity on “Girl Code,” it might run a little deeper. There’s someone involved in the mix that Diab didn’t mention. Transgender model Mia Isabella claims to be friends with the quarterback and frequently sends him shoutouts on social media.

Kaepernick was once rumored to have been in a relationship with Isabella, who famously claimed she was with Kylie Jenner’s beau Tyga for years. In October, she posted a headline to Instagram about them being in a relationship. Isabella wrote the following caption: “I’ve witnessed many things. Gossip, haters, impersonators and liars, but so what if it were true?”

Isabella did not immediately respond for comment.
