If ever there were a David vs. Goliath scenario in the College Football Playoff National Championship, Monday night's showdown between top-ranked Georgia and Texas Christian is it.

In this corner, the defending national champion and undefeated Bulldogs (14-0) enter Monday's 7:30 p.m. ET contest as heavy favorites over the underdog Horned Frogs (13-1). Georgia is a 13-point favorite and the over/under is 63.5 points, according to Vegas Insider.

Georgia and TCU will meet at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, which hosted the last Super Bowl.

The game will air on ESPN. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will broadcast the game from the booth, while Holly Rowe and Molly McGrath will be the sideline reporters.

The Bulldogs are riding a 15-game winning streak that dates back to last year's comeback win over Alabama in the national title game and stretching through last week's rally to knock off Ohio State in the CFP semifinals. Georgia, in its sixth season ranked in the Top 10, is seasoned for big games, loaded with talent and eager for a repeat.

"Can we repeat? Is that what you're asking me? Funny, I haven't had that question at all today," Georgia's 25-year-old quarterback Stetson Bennett sarcastically responded to reporters. "... Hell yeah, we can. I don't care what the stats or history or anyone else has to say about why we won't."

Bennett was a driving force in Georgia's last-minute victory over Ohio State in the semifinal, leading the Bulldogs to a game-winning touchdown drive for a 42-41 win. Georgia hopes to use the game as motivation and a wake-up call against a potential upset.

In the challengers corner, TCU wasn't in the preseason conversation to make it this far. The Horned Frogs fought their way through an undefeated regular season before falling to Kansas State in the Big 12 title game. But they looked anything but underdogs in defeating No. 2 Michigan 54-51 in the other semifinal on Dec. 31 -- one of many close calls for the Frogs this season.

"Look, you don't go through all the stuff we've gone through this season and work as hard as these guys have worked and make all the sacrifices these guys have made to say we're just happy to be here," first-year TCU coach Sonny Dykes said. "I think if anything, it gives you extra motivation to finish the job because we haven't been here before."

Georgia has -500 odds to repeat as national champions. TCU is listed at +375 odds to pull the upset.

Prediction: Georgia 38, TCU 20
