Colton Haynes Shares Details About ‘Insane’ Wedding, Explains Story Behind His Proposal To Jeff Leatham

“Arrow” star Colton Haynes recently shared details about his upcoming wedding to celebrity florist Jeff Leatham.

While speaking with People Now, the actor confirmed that their wedding will only feature the colors black and white. He added that there will be flowers, but only in one specific type of color. “It’s already planned. It’s going to be insane,” he said.

Haynes also shared that the actual ceremony will happen sometime this year, and it will take place in California.

As for their engagement, the actor shared a hilarious story from the time Leatham proposed to him during their vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. “We were watching ‘Steel Magnolias’ on the big screen on the beach with candles. Then Cher popped up and I was like, ‘What is Cher doing?’ and then she sang ‘I Got You Babe,’ and said, ‘You know what to do now,’” he recounted.

Haynes added that he felt very confused at that moment, and Leatham being unable to pull the engagement ring out of his pocket did not help. As a result, Cher’s recording had to be played over and over again until Leatham popped the question. “Then it happened and then fireworks went off and it was amazing,” he said.

Two months after Leatham’s proposal, Haynes also asked his partner to marry him in May.

Meanwhile, Haynes recently clarified his statement about losing his virginity at the age of 13 to both a girl and a boy. The actor’s story resulted in the speculation that he was involved in a threesome. However, Haynes clarified to TMZ that that wasn’t the case.

But during an interview with Andy Cohen on his SirusXM show, “Radio Andy” (via the Huffington Post), Haynes did confirm one thing. The actor said that he was told that he couldn’t be gay in Hollywood because he would not be able to book a job. “Then I was with my management team and a team of people that just literally told me I couldn’t be this way. They tried to set me up with girls. I was rumored to date Lauren Conrad for six months because they were kind of angling and story,” he said.
