Columbus Short Arrest: Warrant Issued For 'Scandal' Star After Bloody Bar Fight
A judge has issued a warrant for the arrest of “Scandal” star Columbus Short in connection to a bar fight in early March.
According to TMZ, the 31-year-old star is facing one count of felony aggravated battery, a charge that carries a maximum sentence of four years in a state prison.
Short was involved in an altercation that reportedly occurred on March 15. Short was attending an engagement celebration at Gabe’s Bar and Grill in Los Angeles when an attendee of the event made a comment regarding Short’s wife. This lead the actor to punch the man in the face, reportedly knocking the victim unconscious and breaking his nose. TMZ reported this week that a criminal investigation was launched into the fight and released the image below of the bloodied victim.
Short’s bond has been set at $50,000. Due to the severe physical injuries the man suffered, the actor was charged with a felony.
