‘Comedy Central Roast Of Justin Bieber’ Roasters Revealed: Jeffrey Ross Announces Star-Studded Lineup
The Biebs is about to get burned -- badly! On Monday, March 30, Comedy Central will air its “Roast of Justin Bieber,” a special event that will harshly mock the “honored” guest of the evening.
Curious which comedians will be taking jabs at the 21-year-old musician during the roast, which will be taped on Saturday, March 14, at Sony Studios? Rolling Stone announced that Kevin Hart will be the roast master during the comical night.
In a recent Instagram post, Jeffrey Ross, who also will be delivering quips during the roast, teased the lineup for Bieber’s big night.
“You better Beliebe it!” the post began. "Hannibal Buress, Chris D’Elia, Snoop Dogg, Natasha Leggero, Ludacris, Shaquille O’Neal and Jeffrey Ross to join ‘Roast Master’ Kevin Hart for the ‘Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber."
The comedian added that additional roasters and talent for the wild night will be announced shortly. However, there was no mention of whether Seth Rogen would be involved in Bieber’s “Roast.” According to reports, the singer has been barraging the comedic actor and fellow Canadian with tweets and phone calls begging him to tell a few jokes during the special.
“@Sethrogen come on man. Check your voicemail. I took it like a man as u blasted a nervous kid fan of yours (me). Now I’m a man. Roast me!” Bieber wrote, along with a few other messages.
Rogen didn't respond to the persistent artist, but his representatives did through a statement given to the Wrap. They explained Rogen, who has publicly admitted to not being Bieber’s biggest fan, wouldn’t be in town during the roast.
During a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show, Bieber explained why he was so excited to be roasted. "I think it's cool to laugh at yourself -- I've done some things that might not have been the greatest," he said. "I just want to be able to laugh about it, and just kind of own up to some of these things."
“The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber” will premiere on Monday, March 30, at 10 p.m. EDT.
