Comic-Con 2016 Schedule: Dates And Times For Over 40 TV Panels At SDCC
Brace yourselves, TV lovers, because on Thursday, July 21, all your favorite showrunners and actors will reunite in San Diego for one of the biggest fan events of the year: Comic-Con. The annual, four-day summer convention, which celebrates a multigenre of entertainment, allows fans to connect with their favorite television shows through interactive activities and panels.
Just one of the many television series attending the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con is “Game of Thrones.” Fans of the hit HBO drama are particularly excited for this panel, which will occur Friday, July 22, because few details about the upcoming installment have been revealed following the show’s epic Season 6 finale.
Fans of the show are crossing their fingers for any information regarding Season 7, which is slated to premiere summer 2017. (The series typically airs in April.) In addition to airing a season late, the forthcoming installment will also consist of fewer episodes. Instead of the show’s usual 10-episodic installment, Season 7 will only feature seven episodes. Audiences are hoping the panel will give them insight about what’s next for the Westeros … and where in the Seven Kingdoms Gendry (Joe Dempsie) might be!
Another panel TV fanatics are looking forward to is AMC’s “The Walking Dead” panel, which will also take place Friday, July 22. Viewers are itching to attend the Q&A with the hopes of getting clues as to who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed in the Season 6 finale with his beloved bat Lucille.
