Comic-Con Movie Trailers 2017: ‘Justice League,’ ‘Thor’ And More Previews From SDCC
San Diego Comic-Con isn’t just for fans in California. The movies there release new trailers that can be enjoyed by fans everywhere during the convention. This weekend was filled with fun new trailers for action, sci-fi and horror movies. Check out what preview videos you may have missed this weekend:
“Justice League” — This trailer sparked tons of conversation online after it debuted. Not only is Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) back in action, but the trailer ends with a cliffhanger. “He said you’d come,” Alfred (Jeremy Irons) says to someone not shown on camera. “Now let’s hope you’re not too late.” Is it Superman (Henry Cavill) or a new hero? Read fan theories HERE and watch the trailer above.
“Thor: Ragnarok” — The newest trailer shows off more of Sakaar, the planet where Thor (Chris Hemsworth) lands and is forced to become a gladiator. However, fans are far more excited about seeing Loki (Tom Hiddleston) seemingly teaming up with his brother and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) finally talking.

“Bright” — Will Smith is sticking to sci-fi. This Netflix original movie shows the “Suicide Squad” star as Ward, a cop who gets paired with Jakoby, an orc, as his new partner. It seems the force has an initiative to up their diversity quota and employ more orcs, elves and fairies. When Ward and Jakoby find a magic wand, they have to work together to protect the powerful relic. The SDCC trailer makes it clear that the action movie will have plenty of humor too.
“Ready Player One” — Steven Spielberg’s next film, based on Ernest Cline’s 2011 sci-fi novel, is a futuristic movie that is inspired by the 1980s. When the creator of a virtual reality game called Oasis dies, he releases a challenge for users to find an Easter Egg. The first to find it will inherit all his fortune.
“Kingsman: The Golden Circle” — The second trailer for the sequel reveals more about Julianne Moore’s villainous character and highlights the action scenes. It also emphasizes the film’s American setting. The members of Kingsman team up with American agents from a spy organization called Statesman to save the day this time.
“Pacific Rim: Uprising” — This teaser trailer is a little different. It doesn’t seem to have any actual footage from the movie. Instead, it plays as a commercial for Jaeger Pilots, the two people who have linked minds that control the giant suits. John Boyega’s character invites viewers to “join the Jaeger uprising.”

The trailer for the animated flick highlights the all-star cast, which includes Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Peña, Zach Woods and Jackie Chan.
“Jigsaw” — If you missed the “Saw” movies, you’ll be happy to know that the Jigsaw killer is back. Investigators are convinced that it’s a copycat. Is it a big fan, or is Jigsaw actually back?
