'Con Man: The Game' New Trailer Released Featuring Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk; Find Out Where To Download Game!
"Con Man: The Game" is finally here!
Entertainment Weekly has released a new animated trailer for "Con Man: The Game," a mobile game that lets players organize and host “the greatest comic book convention in the history of the world."
In "Con Man: The Game," players can build, plan and organize their dream convention with the help of Alan Tudyk, Nathan Fillion, Nolan North, Felicia Day, Joss Whedon and many other big names. The game also lets participants "level-up" by setting up new booths and inviting celebrities, but they will also need to make sure their convention attendees are happy by squashing bugs, catching criminals and occasionally fending off alien invasions.
"Con Man: The Game" was designed by "Con Man" executive producer P.J. Haarsma in collaboration with digital entertainment studio Frima. The game is based on the web series "Con Man," which stars Fillion and Tudyk as the leading men of a canceled science-fiction show entitled "Spectrum."
"Firefly" alums Tudyk and Fillion recently released statements regarding the release of their new game. “I’m addicted. I should be clear, to 'Con Man: The Game.' We’ve been working on this since the crowdfunding campaign. I’m so glad we can finally share it with everyone," said Tudyk.
“I think I should get a special code that gets Nathan Fillion to my convention for free, anytime I want,” said Fillion.
Haarsma also released a statement upon the new game's release and said that he's confident that fans of the "Con Man" web series will love the game as well. “We created a funny and challenging game that fits well with the show. I’m very proud of it,” said the EP.
The "Con Man" web series was funded by the $3.1 million gained by an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. Season 1 of the show has been made available via Comic-Con HQ, while "Con Man" Season 2 won't arrive until November.
