Conor McGregor Arrested In Miami For Smashing Man's Cellphone
Conor McGregor's troubles continue, as Miami police on Monday arrested the mixed martial arts star for allegedly smashing a man's cellphone outside the posh Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel at 5 a.m.
After a fan tried to take a picture with McGregor, he allegedly slapped the phone out of the man's hands and then stomped on it. The incident was caught on surveillance video.
Miami police charged the 30-year-old with felony strong-armed robbery and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
The Miami Herald reported that the Dublin native would be booked at Miami-Dade jail Monday night.
McGregor recently completed his court-ordered community service in New York following his arrest for throwing a metal dolly at the bus window where UFC rival Khabib Nurmagomedov was a passenger at Barclays Center in Brooklyn in April.
McGregor's last fight was a defeat in October to Nurmagomedov, which included a post-fight brawl. The Nevada State Athletic Commission suspended both McGregor and Nurmagomedov.
