Conor McGregor and UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov are set to officially meet face to face for the first time Thursday.

McGregor will be returning to the octagon for the first time since November 2016 as he challenges for the title he never lost against bitter rival Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 on Oct. 6 in Las Vegas.

Despite the fight being announced a while ago, many have complained there is yet to be any real buzz about what UFC president Dana White expects to be the biggest non-boxing pay-per-view of all time.

In addition, there was no sign of any press conference with less than a month to go for the fight. This was reportedly in part due to McGregor, who was refusing to do any press as he was seemingly focused on training for what is arguably his toughest contest in the octagon.

However, fans will finally get their wish as it was revealed last week that a press conference was set for Thursday and the two fighters will clash, at least on the microphone.

The conference takes place at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City and will begin at 5 p.m. EDT. It will be streamed on the official YouTube channel of the UFC and can also be watched below:

If you are in New York City, you can also watch the press conference at Times Square on Broadway between 45th and 46th streets where it will be broadcast on Silvercast’s "Mega-Zilla" — believed to be the world's largest TV screen.

However, only media, not fans, will be able to attend the press conference. McGregor tried to bypass this while promoting his new whiskey "Proper Twelve" this week by claiming anyone who bought it would be admitted into the event.

However, UFC officials told media plans had not changed.

The fight is so big there are even betting props for the press conference. Here are some of them courtesy of Bet DSI:
