Corey Bohan Responds To Ex-Wife Audrina Patridge’s Restraining Order; Daughter’s Visitation 'Hijacked'?
Audrina Patridge's ex-husband, Corey Bohan, has responded to the former's restraining order.
Bohan claimed that Patridge's dad and brother showed up in their house to gather her belongings. Court documents showed a photo of the two in the house. He added that the two tried to start a fight, E! News reported.
Bohan also denied Patridge's claim that he installed more cameras at home. According to him, there were only two cameras: a nanny camera and a camera in front of the house. Bohan added that the "Hills" alum has not been home for three weeks.
Patridge's ex-husband also claimed that the restraining order applies to her parents' home and not their family home. Thus, he refuses to leave, even if the property is under Patridge's name. Prior to their wedding, Bohan and Patridge signed a prenup which states that the house is the latter's "separate property" and that he "shall not acquire any interest in [Patridge's] real or personal property."
Meanwhile, Bohan also confessed that he pays for its maintenance and utilities, adding that Patridge's attorney has denied him his right to visit their daughter, Kirra. He felt that his visitation rights were "hijacked" because the court hearing was scheduled on the date and time of his next visit.
Bohan said that he is trying to retain an attorney, but he can't afford one. As such, he is asking Patridge to pay him spousal support. He also felt that they are trying to set him up to help their case with child services.
On Thursday, Patridge reportedly filed for divorce from Bohan. At the same time, she also requested for a temporary restraining order from her estranged husband, which was granted. Although the "Audrina" star decided to pull the plug on their relationship, she was reportedly "devastated" over their split.
"Physically, Audrina is okay. But she's devastated," a source said. "This is the end of a long-term relationship and she never wanted this to happen. It's a disappointment on so many levels, to say the least. It's painful and it's really hard."
Patridge and Bohan have been in each other's lives for almost a decade. The pair started dating in 2008. Their relationship was on-and-off. They split in 2011, but reconciled after a few months, got engaged in November 2015 and got married one year later in Hawaii. The couple shares 1-year-old daughter, Kirra Max.
