Corinne Olympios Claim ‘Not True,’ DeMario Jackson ‘Vindicated’ In ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Scandal?
A lawyer representing DeMario Jackson in the ongoing investigation into what actually happened between he and Corinne Olympios during filming of “Bachelor in Paradise” is now claiming that his client will be vindicated when the tapes of the incident are reviewed. The statement comes shortly after others which indicate that Corinne has fabricated parts of her story.
In a statement to People Magazine, DeMario’s attorney, Walter Mosley, said that the tapes of the alleged poolside incident would show that what occurred was a “consensual interaction” and he was positive that criminal charges would not be filed against his client.

“The tapes will show that everyone, all of the participants of the ‘Bachelor,’ everyone was consenting to what was going on,” he said. “And certainly his interacting with Corinne was a consensual interaction.”
“I have no fears. This is not a criminal investigation,” Mosley continued. “If there was enough for an investigation, then there’s about 30 other people who all work for ABC or Warner Bros. who need to be investigated for aiding and abetting because they’re all sitting there watching with the cameras.”
The statements from DeMario’s lawyer come on the heels of allegations that Corinne has lied when it comes to her claims of just how drunk she was when she and DeMario reportedly got sexual. According to TMZ, she has claimed she was drunk after having half a bottle of champagne while in a car en route to the bar, where she continued drinking mixed drinks with hard liquor and a few shots as well. She claimed to be so drunk that she “did a face-plant in the Jacuzzi” before she was "dragged and laying on the ground” as the sexual contact continued.
The claim also suggested that she may have consented, but wasn’t actually capable of doing so because of her inebriated state, and even said another cast member told producers after the alleged face-plant to stop, but they refused.
However, sources who claim to have seen the video say that account is false, and that Corinne was “clearly with it” the entire time in the pool.
The claim that Corinne was “with it” at the time seems to fall in line with a statement given by fellow cast member Jasmine Goode, who previously said that she had forced herself on other male cast members, and when producers tried to cut her off from drinking, she got upset and threatened to take action.

“Corinne forced herself on three male cast members, when they were unable to consent, in addition to engaging with DeMario,” Jasmine said. “After the incident everything seemed fine. There was no mention about being hurt. However, when producers tried to cut her off from drinking, she got upset and said, ‘Watch, watch what I’m gonna do.’”
Production on the show was halted last weekend after a producer reportedly raised concerns about the sexual encounter. The cast was all sent back home as the internal investigation continues, and the show is no longer expected to air on ABC this summer.
