The Elk Grove School District officials in California confirmed Monday that an elementary student tested positive for novel coronavirus.

According to local reports, the victim, a student of the Maeola R. Beitzel Elementary School, was one among the four children from a family who underwent the tests for the virus. Following the incident, the school district announced that all classes and student-related activities scheduled till March 13 were canceled.
