On Wednesday, the World Health Organization (WHO) officially declared the ongoing spread of COVID-19, the new novel coronavirus, as a pandemic, but that didn't stop the Mo Pop Festival in Detroit from announcing their new 2020 lineup.

The announcement, which was made via the event's official Twitter account, revealed that "Eastside" singer Khalid and "Somebody Else" group The 1975 will be the headlining acts.

Other notable acts that will be appearing later this year include "Say So" musician Doja Cat and Purity Ring, the band behind hits like "Begin Again" and "Repetition." The full list can be seen in the tweet below.

In addition to the news about the musical acts performing at the 2020 festival, it was also stated that the event would be moving "three miles south to Historic Fort Wayne, a 19th century military site operated by Detroit Parks & Recreation," as reported by the Detroit Free Press. The announcement signified a change from the location of last year's concert at West Riverfront Park in Detroit.

The two-day event, which drew over 33,000 attendees lat year, also has a habit of introducing new "breaking buzz acts to big Detroit audiences." Grammy Award-winning singer Billie Eilish, English singer-songwriter James Bay, and hip-hop band Brockhampton are among the acts that have taken the stage at the popular event.

The recent news come on the heels of other festivals and popular TV shows amending their operations in accordance with the latest updates on coronavirus. Throughout the past week, several shows have decided to forgo in-studio audiences for the foreseeable future, including "The Wendy Williams Show" and "Jeopardy!" Additionally, South by Southwest (SXSW) also canceled the entire event for the first time in the festival's history.

As for when tickets will go on sale for the Mo Pop Festival, those who are interested can purchase presale tickets on March 13 at 10 a.m. EDT after signing up for access through their official website. General admission tickets for a single day are $79.95 and weekend passes are $129.95. Additionally, a "new Yacht Club VIP experience" will also be available for $199.95 to $289.95
