Six EU countries Friday agreed to take in 356 migrants stranded on a rescue ship in the Mediterranean after a two-week standoff again exposed the failure of European leaders to deal quickly with desperate people fleeing conflict and poverty in Africa.The Norwegian-flagged Ocean Viking, run by charities MSF and SOS Mediterranee, had been seeking a port after rescuing four boats of migrants off the Libyan coast between August 9 and 12.

Eight Year Old Boy Takes Car On 87-mph Joy Ride On Autobahn

An eight-year German boy took his mother’s car on a joy ride on a highway in western Germany, managing to reach 87 miles per hour. He was found by police and his mother shortly after she called the authorities. He was in tears and said he just wanted to drive a little.
