Courteney Cox Drops Her First Directorial Music Video 'Right On Time' Featuring Brandi Carlile

Courteney Cox's directed music video "Right On Time" from "In These Silent Days" music album was released Wednesday along with the album's release date. The music video featured Brandi Carlile.
The 57-year-old actress took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the video clip and explained how the music video "resonated" with her.
"I love music. I love playing music. Music has a way of reaching out from the hearts of those who make it, into the hearts of those who hear it," she wrote in the caption. "'Right On Time' resonated with me so deeply. It was such an honor and joy, to get to make a visual journey around this incredible song."
Cox went on to thank Carlile, 40, "for trusting me to work with you on making this happen." The "Friends" star further noted that she has been a "fan" of Carlile and now, she has become a friend noting, "it has exceeded my expectations…. I love your talent, your humor, and your kind, beautiful heart."
She urged fans to listen to this song and watch the video. "I hope it speaks to you the way it does to me," Cox concluded.
Carlile replied to Cox's post and wrote, "This made me cry. And you know how much I hate that- I love you so much, Courtney!! You really believed in me even when I was worried that I may have forgotten how to shine after all this time. You’re an incredible director!! I was so lucky to have you."
Carlile also took to Instagram and revealed that the music album will release on Oct. 1, this year.
In a statement, Carlile explained that this music album reflects on various moods including "resistance and gratitude, righteous anger and radical forgiveness," Variety reported.
The music album consists of 10 songs including "Right On Time," "You And Me On The Rock," "This Time Tomorrow," "Throwing Good After Bad," "Sinners Saints And Fools," "Stay Gentle," "When You’re Wrong," "Mama Werewolf," "Letter To The Past" and "Broken Horses."
Carlile will begin her tour from Friday and perform across the country till April 29, 2022.
