Creator Brian Bird Teases New ‘When Calls The Heart’ Video Airing Soon

New “When Calls the Heart” content will be here before you know it!

The Hallmark Channel drama’s been on hiatus (not canceled!) for the last few weeks, since dropping star Lori Loughlin (Abigail), and Hearties still don’t know when Season 6 will start back up again, but at least they’ll be getting a little something on Wednesday to hold them over.

Tucked into the middle of Hallmark’s TV schedule tomorrow is a new behind-the-scenes look at “When Calls the Heart” Season 6. The segment starts at 2 p.m. EDT and lasts just three minutes before an airing of Jen Lilley’s “Eat, Play, Love” takes over.

Hallmark hasn’t been promoting the short video, clearly aware Hearties will have no problem finding the new “WCTH” content all on their own. The show’s co-creator, Brian Bird, wanted to make sure of that, though, and wrote on social media to tease the upcoming video.

“Happy Monday, #Hearties,” he posted, along with an image of Hallmark’s Wednesday schedule. “Something is happening on your cable and satellite systems Wednesday at 2 PM EST/1 PM CENTRALl/12 NOON MOUNTAIN/11 AM PST. You really, really do not want to miss it. Really. You’re welcome.”

Always one to stir the pot, it’s unclear just why Bird “really” suggests Hearties tune in — aside from the obvious, of course, which is that it’s new “When Calls the Heart” content amid an unplanned Season 6 hiatus.

As the co-creator revealed last week that he knows when the show will return and is just waiting for the right time to share the news, perhaps the air date for Season 6, episode 4 will be revealed at the end of the behind-the-scenes program.

Fans will just have to wait until 2 p.m. EDT on Wednesday to see what kind of “When Calls the Heart” fun Hallmark has in store for everyone.
