A student once failed his exam after naming Cristiano Ronaldo as the "GOAT."

Juventus F.C. superstar Ronaldo will definitely go down in history of soccer as one of the greatest of all time. And one student once paid tribute to Ronaldo’s legacy when he put down the soccer icon’s name as an answer to a question that involved an image of a “goat” during an exam.

Ahmed Nabil, 15, incorporated soccer and the GOAT debate into one of his exams. Nabil went viral on Twitter for uploading a photo of a French test that he failed two years ago, showing his hilarious answer of "un Ronaldo" beneath an image of a goat, Sport Bible reported.

"It was a French exam I did two years ago. For me personally, it was a very hard test and one of the sections was: write the meaning of every animal we show you but in French,” Nabil recalled.

The student admitted that he didn’t know the right answer and just did what he thought would be best at that time – to literally refer to Ronaldo as “goat.”

"I couldn't remember what a goat was called in french, so I thought I'd do something creative and make a couple of my mates laugh instead of just leaving it empty," Nabil admitted.

However, Nabil also admitted that to this day, he is still unsure whether Lionel Messi or Ronaldo is soccer’s goat.

"If anyone asks me who I think is the goat is, I'll tell him them Ronaldo but deep down I'm not that sure.Sometimes I think that Messi is better but because of my bias, the former United player is the greatest," Nabil added.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo sparked controversy after he failed to appear for Juventus in their pre-season friendly match against K-League All Stars last month, Give Me Sport reported.

The Portuguese star remained in the bench despite apparently being contracted to play 45 minutes of the match.

As a result, fans in attendance became angry and even began chanting Messi’s name to try to humiliate Ronaldo.

A Korean fan even took the no-show incident to another level. While Ronaldo was in the lobby of his hotel, he was confronted by an avid fan named Kwak Ji-hyuk.

Kwak posted a video of the incident on YouTube where he can be herad shouting in English: “Why didn’t you play in Korea?”

The korean fan continued to try to get Ronaldo’s attention by holding up a sign in Portuguese which states "You are so nice to your fans here but why did you do that to us?" in English. But to no avail, the soccer star still ignored him.

“Even when I put the sign right in front of his eyes, I was utterly ignored,” Kwak recalled.
