Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi earned an insane amount of money in the last decade.

In fact, Ronaldo and Messi earned an overwhelming amount of over £1 billion ($1.3 billion) between them in the last decade – something that has been rarely achieved in sports history, Daily Mail reported.

It will be remembered that while at Madrid, Ronaldo was the top paid athlete in 2016 and 2017. His worth increased and reportedly has taken his annual earnings past £76 million ($99 million) a year when he joined Juventus in the summer of 2018.
