Curtis Stone has denied rumours that he is engaged to his American girlfriend and Lipstick Jungle star Lindsay Price.

The Australian celebrity chef, who recently participated in NBC's Celebrity Apprentice, recently prepared a five course meal for Oprah Winfrey in Queensland during her tour of the country. Rumours had it that it was here that Curtis proposed to his girlfriend of one year and shared the good tidings with Oprah too.

Curtis, on his return to Melbourne, has denied the rumours. His representative, Tiffany Farrington told Daily Telegraph, “All of its is completely untrue. I was with them the whole time. It’s completely made up.

Curtis, who has moved to the US, has emerged as a very popular TV personality. People magazine has even voted him as one of the 100 sexiest men alive.

He is a part of the growing breed of celebrity chefs, with their own cult following. Being young and handsome adds to the aura.

He has two very successful reality shows to his credit - the globally successful cooking/lifestyle program, Surfing the Menu and a popular American cooking show, Take home chef. He has also authored several books.
