Staff and customers at Britain’s highest pub are set to spend the third night trapped in an inn due to snowfall, but there have been no complaints because there's "plenty of beer."

61 guests remain stranded at Tan Hill Inn in Yorkshire Dales in northern England since Friday, due to heavy snowfall caused by Storm Arwen. Inn Manager Nicola Townsend told BBC that 40 guests were already booked rooms and the rest came to watch an Oasis tribute band play at the pub.

Despite the prolonged entrapment at the pub, guests are reportedly enjoying their time. As the third day rolled in, the staff at the pub prepare for a karaoke-filled evening. Some guests even went on to say that they "don't want to leave" due to the host's excellent hospitality.

"It's just been lovely and everyone is in really good spirits," Townsend said of the guests to the outlet. "They've formed quite a friendship, like a big family is the best way I can describe it."

The staff added other game night activities such as quizzes and board games to keep the guests entertained through the ordeal.

Martin Overton, a guest said they have "plenty of beer available" and the atmosphere inside is "good."

"I'm quite chilled about being stranded, it's quite exciting but we're missing our son who is with his nana. I am wondering how long we will be here for though," said Overton's wife, Stephanie, to the BBC.

On Saturday, guests thanked the staff for their hospitality with a jar filled with around £300 (approximately $400) in cash. The next day, the pub laid out a traditional lunch for the guests.

Rest of the day, the staff and guests decorated the bar together.

"The blizzards were horrendous, how the snow was drifting, it was going all the way up to almost the bedroom windows," Townsend said, according to ITV.

A tunnel out of the front door of the pub has been dug. But, nearby roads remain inaccessible due to fallen power lines. Mountain rescuers were able to get through the thickest of snows to help one guest who needed medical attention, Townsend said.

Even though the blizzard turned into a lovely time for the guests, Storm Arwen has caused disruptions across Yorkshire. Many train lines have closed and hundreds of residents were left without power.
